Frequently Asked Questions

emmalouisegrimes

1. Who can apply to live here?

We welcome women aged 18+ who are ready to embrace recovery and build a fresh start. If you’re committed to staying sober and want to be part of a supportive, uplifting community, we’d love to hear from you!

2. How long can I stay?

Recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all, so we don’t rush the process. Most women stay between 3 to 12 months, but we’ll work with you to create a plan that fits your journey.

3. Do I need to be completely sober before moving in?

Yes, we ask that you come to us clean and sober, as we don’t offer detox services. If you need help getting to that point, we can guide you toward the right resources before you move in.

4. What kind of support will I get?

You’ll be surrounded by women who truly get it. We offer peer support, group meetings, life skills workshops, and access to professional counseling if needed. Plus, plenty of encouragement and sisterhood along the way!

5. Can I work or study while I live here?

Absolutely! Recovery is about rebuilding your life, and that includes work, education, and personal growth. We just ask that you prioritise your recovery first and keep communication open about your commitments.

6. Can I have visitors?

Yes of course! We know how important it is to stay connected to your loved ones. We have set visiting hours to keep the space safe and peaceful for everyone, and we’ll go over the details with you when you arrive.

7. How much does it cost?

There is a weekly fee to stay with us, which covers your accommodation and program support. Many residents get their weekly fee covered through Housing Benefit.

If money is a concern, don’t panic—we can talk through options to help.

8. What happens if I slip up and relapse ?

Recovery isn’t always a straight path, and we understand that. While we do have a zero-tolerance policy for substances in the house, we’ll always handle situations with care and help you access the support you need.

9. What should I pack?

Bring comfy clothes, toiletries, and anything that makes you feel at home—plus any prescribed medications. We’ll give you a full list of dos and don’ts before you move in, so don't stress or panic.

10. How do I get started?

It’s simple—just reach out to us! We’ll chat about where you’re at, answer any questions, and see if our home feels like the right fit for you. You’re not alone, and we’re here to help you take that next step toward the life you deserve.
